Patha Pooja ceremony

Patha Pooja ceremony

On the morning of January 31, 2024, Agastya Academy celebrated Patha Pooja ceremony, creating a heartfelt blend of love, cultural traditions, and academics. Initially, the day commenced with spiritual rituals, including singing devotional songs and Ammaiyappar Velvi, where parents, teachers, and children prayed together with reverend devotion. Subsequently, guided by the Bhavani Sivanadiyar congregation, children performed the Patha Pooja ritual. This emphasized gratitude and familial bonds. Thus, the significance of Patha Pooja, which expresses gratitude at the feet, became evident as parents were regarded as embodiments of Shiva and Parvathi. In this touching moment, parents gave their blessings to the children, arousing emotions and creating a lasting memory. Overall, the event was orchestrated in a grand manner, highlighting the powerful combination of spiritual traditions and academics. And those who participated received the blessings of Lord Shiva, gaining a positive mindset for the upcoming public examinations.
