At Agastya, we believe education is more than textbooks and classrooms. It’s about instilling a love for nature and a sense of responsibility toward our planet. This belief came alive when we participated in the "Free Tree Sapling Distribution" program, organized by the Olirum Erode Foundation.

With immense excitement and purpose, our students and team distributed 9,000 tree saplings to families, friends, and communities. Each sapling carried our collective hope, a reminder of the importance of trees in sustaining life and building a greener future. For us, this was a dream come true moment towards a shared vision for a sustainable tomorrow.

Bringing Nature into Our Learning

On November 19th, we took another meaningful step by participating in an online discussion titled "A Deeper Dive into Natural Learning!" Led by Ms. Sathya, our team of teachers and students shared how we integrate nature into education at Agastya. The session’s theme, "Integrating Natural Learning in Schools," resonated deeply with our approach.

In our weekly NEST sessions, we explore Natural farming, Eating mindfully, Sustainable living, and paying Tribute to Earth. This unique program brings the wonders of nature into our classrooms, allowing students to step outside and learn in ways that nurture curiosity, critical thinking, and a profound respect for the environment. For us, NEST is a transformative way of showing students how to see the world differently and appreciate its beauty.
